European Writers’ Tour

The European Writers’ Tour takes place throughout 2017 in London and around the country. Launched at European Literature Night at the British Library with a keynote address from A. L. Kennedy, and panel discussion with Arifa Akbar, Francesca Melandri and Clemens Meyer the tour invites European authors to talk and meet audiences at five major British literature festivals: Hay, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Bradford and Hull.
The European Writers’ Tour 2017 is a EUNIC London project coordinated by the Insituto Camões in partnership with the Royal Society of Literature and the British Library. It is supported by The European Commission Representation in the UK and EUNIC Global, with additional support from the Czech Centre, Flanders House and the Institut Français.
