Daisy Hay

Daisy Hay was elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature in 2018.
Daisy Hay is the author of Young Romantics: The Shelleys, Byron and Other Tangled Lives (2010), for which she was awarded the Rose Mary Crawshay Prize by the British Academy, and Mr and Mrs Disraeli: A Strange Romance (2015), for which she received a Somerset Maugham Award. Daisy’s The Making of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein will be published in September 2018. She is currently working on a major group biography of the circle of writers, artists and thinkers who gathered around the Romantic publisher Joseph Johnson.
