Jane Draycott

Jane Draycott was elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature in 2020.
Jane Draycott is a poet and translator. Her most recent collections from Carcanet include Over, shortlisted for the T S Eliot Prize, Pearl — her award-winning translation of the medieval dream-elegy — and The Occupant, written following her time as Writer in Residence in Amsterdam. A Next Generation poet, her work has been nominated three times for the Forward Prizes for poetry. Her 2017 translation of Henri Michaux’s Storms Under the Skin: Selected Poems (1927-1954) is published by Two Rivers Press.
