Lara Feigel

Lara Feigel was elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature in 2018.
Lara Feigel is a Reader in Modern Literature and Culture at King’s College London, where she directs the Centre for Modern Literature and Culture, runs (and founded) the Ivan Juritz Prize for Creative Experiment, and is the recipient of a European Research Council grant and a Philip Leverhulme Prize. She is the author of four books: Literature, Cinema, Politics: Reading between the Frames (2009), The Love-charm of Bombs: Restless Lives in the Second World War (2013), The Bitter Taste of Victory: Life, Love and Art in the Ruins of the Reich (2016) and Free Woman: Life, Liberation and Doris Lessing, which was published in March.
