Sabrina Mahfouz

Sabrina Mahfouz was elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature in 2018.

Sabrina Mahfouz’s theatre work includes Chef, an Edinburgh Fringe First Award winner; Dry Ice, for which she was nominated in The Stage Awards for Acting Excellence; and With a Little Bit of Luck, which was the first radio drama for BBC Radio 1Xtra. She also writes for children, and her play Zeraffa Giraffa won a 2018 Off West End Award. Sabrina has a poetry collection, How You Might Know Me and is the editor of The Things I Would Tell You: British Muslim Women Write, a Guardian Book of the Year 2017. She was also an essay contributor to The Good Immigrant, exploring her mixed racial heritage through British fashion.
