Sasha Dugdale

Sasha Dugdale was elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature in 2020.
Sasha Dugdale has published five collections of poems with Carcanet, her latest, Deformations was published in 2020. Joy, published in 2017, was a PBS Choice. She won the Forward Prize for Best Single Poem in 2016 and in 2017 she was awarded a Cholmondeley Prize for Poetry.
Sasha Dugdale’s translations of the Russian poet Maria Stepanova were published by Bloodaxe and Fitzcarraldo Editions in 2020. Her translations of the poet Elena Shvarts were a PBS Recommendation and shortlisted for the Popescu and Academica Rossica Prizes. She is former editor of Modern Poetry in Translation and poet-in-residence at St John’s College, Cambridge (2018-2020).
