Tony Brown was elected as an Honorary Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature in 2020.
Tony has worked for Islington Libraries since 1981 and presently holds the post of Stock and Reader Development Manager. Co-founder of the Islington Word Festival – an annual celebration of reading, writing and freedom of expression. Awarded the British Empire Medal in the Queen’s New Year Honours list in 2019 for service to libraries and communities.
