Xandra Bingley

Xandra Bingley was elected as an Honorary Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature in 2019.
Xandra Bingley worked for the Poetry Collection at the University of Buffalo, in New York State and then The Atlantic Monthly magazine. Back in London, she worked for Ian Hamilton’s The New Review, and Jonathan Cape, before setting up Xandra Hardie Literary Agency where she represeted writers including Ali Smith. A memoir of her childhood, Bertie, May and Mrs Fish, was published by HaperCollins in 2005.
