RSL Membership

The RSL offers the benefits and joys of a literary festival and book club, rolled into one, all year round: a membership for all seasons. 

As a Member of the RSL, you will receive: 

  • Free places at our events, over 20 each year (currently online)

  • Discounted guest tickets to our events

  • Our monthly e-newsletter

  • A place at RSL Members’ Book Groups

  • Free subscriptions to our annual RSL Review magazine and quarterly Our Mutual Friend newspaper.

If you would like to donate at a higher level and receive additional benefits, you can join as a member of our Literature Matters Supporters' Circle, as a Patron, or as a member of the 1820 Club.

The RSL is a charity, and with Gift Aid you can support us even further. If you are a UK taxpayer, for every £1 you give, we can claim 25p in addition from HM Revenue and Customs at no extra cost to you. All we need is your consent, which you can give by selecting ‘Yes’ below.
