Colin Thubron is made a Companion of Literature in 2020.
Colin Thubron CBE CRSL FRSL was elected an RSL Fellow in 1969. He is a British travel writer and novelist. In 2008, The Times ranked him among the 50 greatest postwar British writers. Colin is a former President of the RSL and holds the position of President Emeritus.
