Stranger

About The Poem
During Lockdown, I slept more, I ate more and my imagination was more active. My poem, “Stranger” is an example of my imagination at work.
The Poem
Last night a stranger tried to move into my house
He crawled in through the cat flap
Then used a bicycle pump to infllate himself
To normal size
He opened the door
And banged 2 wooden cases on the floor
He said, “What’s for breakfast?”
The cat said, “Kippers”
He said, “Sod that for a game of soldiers”
He picked up his cases
He said, “Goodbye” to the cat
Then knocked on the house next door.
