A rare opportunity to see some of the finest emerging writers from Chicago and London curated by Chicago Spoken Word Educator and Golden Shovel Anthology co-editor, Peter Kahn. 

Featured poets include: Patricia Frazier – the National Youth Poet Laureate of the United States, Kara Jackson – the Youth Poet Laureate of Chicago, Natalie Richardson – former Scholastic Arts Midwest Youth Poet Laureate, Theresa LolaCaleb Femi, and Aisling Fahey  – Young People’s Poet Laureates of London, and Rachel Long Young People’s Poet Laureate of London finalist and founder of Octavia Poetry Collective for Women of Colour.  

Presented by RSL Fellow Sarah Howe and poet Jacob Sam La Rose.
