Join Molly Rosenberg, Director of the RSL, for the RSL Members' Book Group. Prior to our 'Black in the Union Jack?' event, we will be discussing Safe: On Black British Men Reclaiming Space  – an anthology of  essays reflecting on the Black British male experience, collated and edited by Mostly Lit podcast host Derek Owusu.

Including essays from top poets, writers, musicians, actors and journalists, this timely book brings together a selection of powerful reflections exploring the Black British male experience and what it really means to reclaim and hold space in the landscape of our society.

Contributors include:Alex Wheatle, Courttia Newland, Derek Oppong, Derek Owusu, Jesse Bernard, JJ Bola, Stephen Morrison-Burke and Yomi Sode.

This will be an informal discussion and refreshments will be provided.
